This Privacy Policy explains how Awase LLC ("Awase", "we") collects and uses information when you use awase.dev and our products — including our apps Core, Nebula, Stem, and Flux (on the web and on iOS), and our business agents Air, Sol, Flo, and Geo. All Awase apps and products are owned and operated by Awase LLC.
Request deletion of your STEM account and data
Account details from Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In (your name, email address, and — for Google — profile image); a phone number where you provide one; your date of birth (to confirm you meet our minimum age); content you create and upload (such as prompts, chats, the memories, notes, and ideas you save in Stem, and the product photos, logos, brand assets, reference images, and ads or media you upload to or generate with Flux); usage and device data; and billing information processed by our payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.
Flux is a cinematic ad studio, available on the web and on iOS, that turns your product photos, logos, and brand details into finished ad images, videos, voiceover, and copy. When you use Flux, we collect and process:
When you use Stem, we store the memories, notes, and ideas you choose to save (your "brain"), the AI sources you connect, and the typed links between memories, so we can recall them for you across your connected AIs. Stem connects to AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and others through MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors that you authorize via OAuth; a connected AI can read and write only your own memories, under the access you grant, and you can revoke a connection at any time. Each user's memory data is kept in isolated, per-user storage on our infrastructure (Cloudflare) — your memories are never commingled with another user's — and is never used to train models and never shared for advertising. You can export all of your memories as JSON on the web, or Markdown in supported iOS builds at any time, and delete your account and all memories in the app (Settings → Delete account), which also revokes Sign in with Apple access. We retain memory data while your account is active.
When you upload files, photos, audio or video to STEM, the content is stored privately in Cloudflare R2. File metadata, including names, types, sizes and upload times, storage usage and reservations, and sharing-link controls are stored in owner-scoped Cloudflare Durable Objects. These records support your private Library, combined memory and media storage allowance, downloads and deletion.
Uploads are private by default. Uploading content does not automatically send it to AI providers or give connected AI tools access to it. You can explicitly create an expiring sharing link for an item and revoke the link. Anyone holding that link can access the item while the link is valid, including someone to whom it is forwarded. Expiration, revocation or deletion stops new access through the link; it cannot recall copies already downloaded or transfers already in progress.
Deleting an item immediately disables new access through STEM, including its sharing links. Removal of the stored content and pending upload parts then runs asynchronously, with retries for interrupted operations. Account deletion also disables access and starts cleanup of your uploaded content, metadata and pending parts. Minimal storage identifiers and cleanup status may remain as needed to retry removal and prevent interrupted uploads from restoring access. Cleanup may continue after the deletion request completes.
You can request deletion of your STEM by Awase LLC account without installing or opening the app. Email support@awase.dev with the subject STEM account deletion, using the email address associated with your account. If you cannot access that email address, contact the same support address for help verifying ownership. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or payment-card details.
In STEM for Android, open your profile, choose Profile & Settings, and select Permanently delete account. Account deletion is also available in STEM on the web and iPhone through your profile settings. Export any memories you want to keep before confirming deletion.
What is deleted: your account profile and sign-in information, saved STEM memories and their links, connection credentials, invitation codes, signup proofs, referral reward records, and account-linked acquisition and advertising-measurement records. This is a shared Awase account; deletion also removes the associated account data in other Awase products. A reward already earned by another person is not removed.
What is retained: transaction and tax records required by law are retained for the legally required period. Minimal account-deletion and billing-revocation identifiers and times, plus keyed referral anti-replay hashes, are retained after deletion to prevent old sessions or billing events from restoring a deleted account and to prevent duplicate rewards. These security records do not automatically expire and do not retain your saved memories or profile fields; keyed hashes are pseudonymous, not anonymous. Payment providers may retain their own transaction records under their policies and legal obligations. Contact support for help with a service-provider data-deletion request.
Subscriptions: deleting your STEM account does not cancel a Google Play or Apple App Store subscription. Cancel future renewals in the store's subscription settings to stop further charges. For Dodo web purchases, use Manage Dodo billing in STEM to cancel renewal; for Paddle purchases, use Manage Paddle billing or the link on your Paddle receipt. If active billing or a pending payment prevents account deletion, contact support@awase.dev for cancellation and deletion assistance. You can contact support to initiate a deletion request at any time.
When you use Core (our AI assistant) or Nebula (our AI agent, including its voice mode), we process your prompts, conversations, and any files you provide in order to generate responses and carry out the tasks you ask for, and we store your conversation history so you can return to it. Voice interactions are processed to understand and respond to you. Your conversations are used to provide the Service, not for advertising.
To provide and operate the Services (account, credits and storage, AI responses, generation, media libraries, memory, and publishing), process payments and trials, provide support, prevent abuse, improve our products, and send you the service and account messages — and the marketing communications you have consented to — described below.
When you create an account or sign up in any Awase app or product (including apps from the Apple App Store or Google Play), you consent to receive communications from us at the email address and phone number you provide, including marketing and promotional messages by email, by text/SMS, and by phone call, as described in our Terms of Service. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing at any time — reply STOP to a marketing text, use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email, or email support@awase.dev — and we will stop marketing messages, though we may still send service and account messages needed to run your account. Consent to marketing is not a condition of using a Service.
We share data only as needed with processors and partners that run our Services, each of which processes data on our behalf or as an independent service you choose to use:
Some Services generate media such as images, audio, or video. Where a model adds an inaudible or embedded provenance watermark (for example, Google's SynthID) identifying content as AI-generated, we do not remove it. Ads created with Flux and published to Meta are disclosed as AI-generated where Meta's policies require it.
Content you create is stored so you can view, download, and manage it — including your Flux media library, saved faces, Stem memories, and conversation history. You can delete your content, individual media items, and saved faces at any time. We retain account data while your account is active. When you delete your account (in-app Delete account, or by contacting us), we delete your account data and content, except for records we are legally required to keep (such as transaction and tax records), which we retain only as long as the law requires, and the minimal security records described in STEM account deletion, which do not automatically expire.
You may access, download, or delete your content; delete saved faces and media library items in Flux; export your Stem memories as JSON on the web, or Markdown in supported iOS builds; disconnect your Meta account or any Stem MCP connection; opt out of marketing communications (see above); and delete your account using in-app account deletion or by contacting us. You can revoke Sign in with Apple or Google access in your Apple or Google account settings.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact support@awase.dev and we will delete it. Users aged 13–17 should use the Services only with a parent or guardian's consent.
We may update this policy and will post the new date here. Questions: support@awase.dev.
When you use Gift STEM, we store your invitation code, qualifying account relationships, verification times, and earned storage reward. To prevent duplicate or self-referrals, we use keyed hashes of verified email addresses and sign-in provider identifiers. These hashes are pseudonymous, not anonymous. Account deletion removes your invitation codes, signup proofs, reward records and raw account references in referral receipts. Keyed anti-replay hashes remain for fraud prevention; another person's already-earned reward remains. Invitations do not upload your contacts, and we do not send messages to your friends automatically.
If you allow measurement, STEM uses a secure first-party cookie for up to 30 days to remember campaign tags, a supported advertising click identifier, and the referring website hostname. We do not retain the full referring URL, sign-in codes, authentication tokens, or saved memory content in these measurement records. After successful sign-in, we can associate these sources and verified signup or AI-connection milestones with your STEM account ID. Existing accounts without original source evidence remain unknown. Account-linked measurement records remain until you withdraw measurement or delete the account. Withdrawal removes those records and keeps a minimal account preference to prevent old requests from re-enabling measurement. The preference is removed on account deletion. If you decline while signed out, the browser stops measurement immediately; a matching account preference is updated when you next sign in. Measurement preferences are available on the STEM page. This choice does not subscribe you to marketing email.
Advertising measurement is optional and separate from account access, AI memory permissions and marketing email. The updated choice allows STEM to report a future first server-verified ChatGPT connection to OpenAI Ads with a random event ID, connection time, public STEM page address, any available original ad-click reference, and a SHA-256 hash of the account’s verified email for matching and attribution. A hash is still personal data, not anonymous data. We do not send your raw email, name, phone number, account ID, IP address, browser details, authentication information or saved memories through this server integration. An email delivery or Install click alone is not a completed connection.
Existing click-only consent does not authorize email-hash matching. It continues to permit only the original click-reference event; new email matching requires a fresh, explicit updated choice. No advertising Pixel or automatic form matching is loaded by this change. Events retain the integration’s limited-use opt-out setting; reporting and matching do not guarantee attribution, audience creation or advertising optimization.
Use Privacy choices on the STEM page to reject or withdraw. We keep a secure first-party consent receipt for up to 30 days and the current account preference. Rejecting cancels queued reports and removes their payloads, including hashes and click references. Data already sent to OpenAI cannot be recalled by this control and is processed under OpenAI’s conversion terms and privacy policy. A minimal first-connection record prevents reconnections being counted again; delivery records retain event IDs, times and status while the account exists. Queued payloads are erased after delivery, cancellation or terminal failure. Account deletion removes account-linked measurement records. This choice does not affect access, pricing, payments or stored memories.
If you allow X measurement, STEM keeps the original X ad-click reference with a first-party consent receipt for up to 30 days. After your first verified connection to ChatGPT, STEM can send X that click reference, a random event identifier and the connection time. Reconnecting does not create another first-connection event. STEM does not send your email, phone number, account ID or memory and file contents in this server event.
The X browser pixel runs only on the dedicated public ChatGPT connection landing page after this separate choice. It reports a visit and may use advertising cookies for up to 13 months. Browser requests necessarily disclose network and browser information to X. The pixel does not run in the STEM app, on sign-in or authorization pages, or on pages displaying your memories. It does not receive contact fields from STEM.
Use X measurement preferences to change your choice. On the pixel landing page, Change X choice opens the STEM app before you change the preference, unloading the pixel. Declining clears the known X first-party cookies and cancels queued reports. Changes cannot recall information already sent to X. Account deletion removes account-linked X measurement records. This choice is independent of OpenAI advertising measurement and does not affect account access, AI connections, storage or payments.
For each connected AI, you may explicitly authorize best-effort automatic saving of useful, distilled conversation context that the AI shares with STEM. This may include project facts, decisions, preferences and progress. It is not access to all conversations, other chats or a device recording service. The connected AI decides what context and tools are available, and its confirmations and your instructions still apply. We ask the AI to avoid full transcripts, credentials, secrets and sensitive information; do not authorize or share information you do not want saved. A client name or installation alone cannot enable this preference.
We store the connection identifier, your automatic or manual choice, consent version and relevant timestamps for your account. A newly approved choice is activated only after that connection completes authorization. Existing connections remain manual until you explicitly change the choice. Automatically saved memories use the same isolated account storage, storage allowance, export and deletion controls as memories you save explicitly. Other AI services you authorize can recall those memories under their own connection permissions; their handling of information they receive is also governed by their policies. STEM does not use these memories for advertising or model training.
Turn off automatic saving for a connection in STEM Settings → Memory preferences on the web or supported app versions, or revoke the connection. Turning it off stops future automatic saves through that connection but does not delete memories already saved or revoke its separately granted ordinary read/write access. You can delete those memories or revoke the full connection separately. Consent and preference records are removed with account deletion, except for minimal records otherwise disclosed in this policy. Automatic memory does not opt you into marketing, enable billing or bypass an AI service approval.
File access is a separate, optional choice for each supported OAuth connection on an eligible STEM plan. Installing STEM, enabling text-memory saving or purchasing a plan does not grant it. When you explicitly ask, an approved connection can save original file bytes, link a private file to a memory, or read files from your same-account STEM Library. Reading sends those bytes to that AI provider, whose policies also apply; this is account-wide access rather than isolation by individual chat. It does not automatically capture other conversations or create public links.
We store your account and connection identifiers, approved OAuth authorization-family identifiers, consent version, choice, revision and timestamps to enforce this permission. Turn it off in STEM Settings to stop future connector access, or revoke the connection. A new authorization requires a fresh file-access choice. Turning access off does not delete existing files or recall copies already sent to an AI. These permission records are removed when you delete your account. File transfer and display depend on the receiving AI and file size; unsupported files can be managed in STEM Library.
